About Brother Brush He is self-taught
My Artistic Journey
I have been creating art for over a 73 years, exploring various mediums and styles. My passion for painting allowed me to express emotions and tell stories through vibrant colors and intricate details.Around the year 2004 I broke my right wrist. I last a lot of sensitivity in my right hand so I reconcentrated my passion for photography and creative writing. My passion for martial arts began in 1965 in Scotland with jujutsu. then in 1969 David Monroe of sofstx.com started teaching me karate on our road trip from California to Fort Lauderdale Florida. David and I kept contact through the years and when he moved again to Atlanta, he started teaching me wing chunk kung fu and I joined Francis Fong's wing Chung Academy in 1990. In 1996 I started working at SofStx making soft padded weapons for martial artist under Owner David Monroe's directions. Around the year 2000 David introduced me to tai chi.
